Just click on the View link next to your order on the My Account > Orders & Tickets page. You can also click on this link.
Everyone can attend the event as an attendee, participant, vendor, sponsor or just an enthusiast who wants to hang around and take pictures. Everyone is welcome!
It costs $10 to enter the event as an attendee. Parking is free on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to display your car in the car show or to participate in the interactive components of the event (run your car in an autocross or on the track) please click on Register on the home page for further information.
The event is being organized by OCFOS, LLC which is a newly formed automotive event company specializing in events to benefit worthy causes. This inaugural event at the AutoClub Speedway will benefit Special Olympics of Southern California. On track activities are being coordinated by SpeedVentures a well know Southern California based track experience company (www.speedventures.com).
The Rally is essentially a group run from Orange County to the Autoclub Speedway. On Saturday morning participants will gather at Protective Film Solutions in Santa Ana and will caravan as a group to the Speedway via a preplanned route that will include some fun and spirited driving.
The car show is what you’d expect – a static display of cars ranging from muscle to import to hypercars. Car show participants will have three options to select from – Silver, Gold and Platinum. Click on Register on the home page to view a description of each level. If you wish to simply attend the car show you only need to purchase a $10 entry ticket!
The Autocross is a slalom course set up to test your driving and handling skills. Whether you’re in a Miata or a Ferrari this course is intended to challenge your ability to accelerate, brake, turn and take corners effectively. It’s open to complete beginners all the way to advanced level drivers. Come test your skills on this really fun course!
The Road Course part of the event is the actual track and super speedway portion of the facility where drivers will have the opportunity to run their cars “on track” in a safe and controlled setting. Whether you’re driving a Miata, a Ford Mustang, a mini van or a Koenigsegg you will be welcome to come out and enjoy some track time in your car. It makes no difference if you’re a Beginner or a seasoned track veteran. Group runs will accommodate every skill level of driving. For Beginners there will also be complimentary instructors on hand on a first come first serve basis. For Advanced drivers you will have the opportunity to test your cars to their limits. Open passing is allowed in the Advanced group! Any and all questions will be answered during one of the two scheduled driver’s meetings on each day!
No special credentials or sanctioning body licenses are required to participate in either the autocross or road course events. All drivers will be required to attend one of the two driver’s meeting on the day they are planning to drive – either at 8am or at noon. If you arrive at 9am and miss the 8am meeting you cannot drive on track until you check in with the track officials and are cleared to drive. Track officials will be located at the end of Building G2 at the SpeedVentures tent.
Only a helmet is required to go on track. Race suits are not required for any street cars (only required for race cars). No special equipment is required in a street car other than your normal seat belt. There will be loaner helmets available on a first come first serve basis.
Timing equipment will be in effect. If you wish to rent a transponder you will need to go to the SpeedVentures tent located at the end of building G2 to rent a transponder.
Yes. Instructors will be available complimentary to all track participants on a first come first serve basis. Check in with SpeedVentures when you arrive to register and inform them of your desire to have an instructor accompany you on track.
If you only intend to display your car at the event and have no plans to drive it in either the autocross or on the road course the basic “car show” plan would be the Bronze package. This allows you to park in the Bronze parking lot (see event map) and also receive admission for two and one event t-shirt. If you select the Silver package you will be able to park in the main area – close to all the vendors, food trucks and center of activity. You will also receive admission for two for the weekend plus two event t-shirts and two passes to the VIP tent for lunch. The Gold and Platinum packages are the top tier packages that offer covered garage parking, admittance for four, t-shirts and the Rally to the Speedway ($500 value). The Platinum package is obviously everything under the sun – all access. Everything the gold package offers plus all on track activities for the whole weekend. If you intend to track your car on both days this is the package to select. If you only intend to participate one day you could conceivably select a lower level package and pay for the specific track event you plan to partake in separately. For instance you could select a Bronze package for $100 plus Saturday’s Autocross for $300. Total outlay would be $400.
